Short description (50 words)

Only one large transformation in 200 hits budget, schedule and promised benefits. In Corporate Stockholm Syndrome, Kimmo Kontra and Janne Vihervuori argue that the reason is structural — enterprises are held hostage by the fragmented way they know themselves — and show leaders how an Organizational Brain and AI as an Infinite Optionality Engine can set them free.

Long description (150 words)

Corporate Stockholm Syndrome: How to Free Your Enterprise and Lead with AI begins with a number: only one large transformation in two hundred lands on budget, on schedule and with its promised benefits. Better tools and methods have not moved it in decades.

Kimmo Kontra and Janne Vihervuori argue that this is not bad luck but a hostage situation. Business, IT and data hold each other captive inside the Gonglomerate — an organization whose strategy lives in slide decks, whose real work survives in shadow spreadsheets, and whose leaders keep reaching for the Fallacy of One: the belief that one platform or partner will set them free.

The way out is a matter of strategy and management, with AI as the forcing function: an Organizational Brain that records intent in a form people can read and AI can use, an Infinite Optionality Engine that keeps strategic choices alive, Greenfield Thinking, and Orchestration Governance for the seams between silos.
